The Riverheads Gladiators basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants to 28 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Friday.
The Gladiators now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Riverheads will battle a Storm team coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Storm record now stands at 20-0.
The Little Giants (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Wilson Memorial was defeated by Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 42-27, in a non-league contest.
