The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 46-44 in Friday's non-league test.

The Desert Warriors (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record.

The Fighting Colts now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Deming for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14.
