Central Catholic Buttons (San Antonio, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Thomas Catholic Eagles (Houston, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Buttons face the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders (Tomball, TX) in a Division 1 District 4 challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record.

The Eagles now have a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a Division 1 District 4 challenge on Saturday, February 11. St. Thomas Catholic will face a Apaches team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 12-8.
