New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque can't hold off Santa Fe

The Santa Fe Demons basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Albuquerque Bulldogs to 55 in the Demons league victory on Saturday.
The Demons now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Lunas for a 5A District 5 contest on Wednesday, February 14. Santa Fe will battle a Tigers team coming off a 83-52 league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 15-7.
The Bulldogs (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 5 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Capital edged Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 48-42, in a league contest.
