The Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) basketball crushed the host Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), 77-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Engineers (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Wolfe County was trounced by Powell County (Stanton, KY), 86-84, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 10-18 record. They play next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Buckhorn will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 11-12.
