The Crestview Cougars basketball team (Ashland, OH), was nudged 57-56 in Saturday's league battle with the host St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH)

The Flyers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Reserve for a Firelands battle on Wednesday, February 14. St. Paul will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 50-43 league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 10-6.

The Cougars (18-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Central (Greenwich, OH). The Trojans come into the Firelands battle with a 2-17 record. In their last battle, South Central was nudged by Mapleton (Ashland, OH), 51-38, in a league battle.
