The The Carmel School Wildcats basketball team (Ruther Glen, VA), was routed 68-46 in Saturday's league battle with the host Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA)
The Royals now sport a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Life Christian Academy for a VISAA Division III battle on Thursday, February 15. Cristo Rey will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-14.
The Wildcats (15-14) will now prepare for their battle against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles come into the VISAA Division II battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Fredericksburg Christian trounced King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA), 94-75, in a non-league battle.
