In Saturday's league outing, the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), by a count of 70-29.
The Golden Eagles (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Sandia was crushed by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 66-55, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 5-17 record. They play next when they travel to La Cueva for a 5A District 2 outing on Tuesday, February 13. Piedra Vista will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 71-63 league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 15-7.
