In Saturday's league outing, the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), by a margin of 80-42.
The Mavericks (20-6) will now prepare for their outing against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons go into the Virginia Independent outing with a 2-16 record. In their last outing, Fishburne Military smashed Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA), 80-40, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Blue Ridge for a VISAA Division I outing on Monday, February 12. Hargrave Military Academy will clash with a Barons squad coming off a 83-27 league win over The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Barons record now stands at 18-8.
