Iowa High School Basketball - Hoover overwhelmed by Johnston

The Johnston Dragons basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Hoover Huskies to 35 in the Dragons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Dragons now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny Centennial for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Johnston will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-6.
The Huskies (1-16) will now prepare for their bout against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA). The J-Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 7-14 record. In their last bout, Urbandale overwhelmed Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 65-60, in a league bout.
