The Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) basketball felled the visiting Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT), 62-53 in Saturday's league test.
The Vikings (5-12) will now prepare for their test against North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, North Country Union was beaten by Harwood (Moretown, VT), 57-46, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Spaulding for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14. Lake Region will encounter a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 74-67 non-league win over U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 4-14.
