West Virginia High School Basketball - Philip Barbour fells Lewis County

Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team prevail over the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 69-50 in a league match.

In their next game, the Colts meet the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Monday, February 12. Philip Barbour will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Bees enter the match with a 12-5 record after their 61-49 non-league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV).

With the defeat, Lewis County moves to 12-8 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to meet the Indians in a Big Ten match on Saturday, February 17. The Indians enter the match with a record of 13-2.
