The Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) basketball knocked off the host Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL), 82-72 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans (12-16) will now prepare for their test against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers - East test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Newman Central Catholic went down by Princeton (Princeton, IL), 66-65, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 15-14 record. They play next when they travel to Morrison for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Oregon will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 68-54 league loss to Orion (Orion, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-16.
