The Mount Olive Marauders basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Newton Braves to 39 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Marauders now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Hills for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Mount Olive will battle a Braves team coming off a 66-24 non-league loss to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 7-14.
With the defeat, Newton moves to 3-19 on the year. The Braves travel to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ) to meet the Colts in a non-league match on Monday, February 12. The Colts enter the match with a record of 8-13.
