The Northern Patriots basketball team (Owings, MD), dropped 70-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD)
The Clippers now possess a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Tuesday, February 13. Oxon Hill will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 53-42 league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-15.
The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, McDonough dropped by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 65-53, in a league battle.
