Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Whitefield Academy Lions (Kansas City, MO), 33-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cornerstone Family upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Whitefield Academy (Kansas City, MO) to play the Lions in a bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Whitefield Academy won 49-46 in their recent non-league bout against Independence Home School (Lawrence, KS)

Next up, the Lions play the Independence Home School Lions (Lawrence, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Whitefield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
