The Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) basketball nipped the host Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM), 62-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Broncos (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record.
The Patriots now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15.
