The Aspen Skiers basketball team (Aspen, CO), was overwhelmed 56-17 in Saturday's league battle with the host Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO)

The Pirates now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gunnison for a 3A Western Slope battle on Friday, February 16. Olathe will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 54-42 league loss to Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-12.

The Skiers (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Roaring Fork trounced Gunnison (Gunnison, CO), 54-42, in a league battle.
