Douglas Bearcats (Douglas, WY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglas upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Buffalo (Buffalo, WY) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Buffalo won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Powell (Powell, WY)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY) in a 3A Southeast bout, on Friday, February 16. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record.
