Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH), 56-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Granville upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Blue Aces travel to Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-10. Worthington Christian won 58-33 in their recent league bout against Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Licking Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Freddies come into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 65-34 non-league loss to Loudonville (Loudonville, OH).
