Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY), 52-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson County upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Generals host Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Rockcastle County won 67-60 in their recent non-league bout against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Leslie County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 66-53 non-league loss to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY).
