The Watervliet Cannoneers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Maple Hill Wildcats to 29 in the Cannoneers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cannoneers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Watervliet will battle a Spartans team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 18-1.

The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY). The Riverhawks go into the non-league bout with a 14-4 record. In their last bout, Coxsackie-Athens was knocked off by Greenville (Greenville, NY), 50-39, in a non-league bout.
