The Putnam County Midgets routed the visiting Maysville Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 62-15 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Midgets face the Canton Tigers (Canton, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 12. Putnam County will attempt to move on its 7-15 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 15-9 record after their 63-38 league win over North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO).

With the defeat, Maysville moves to 3-18 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Stanberry (Stanberry, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Grand River West game on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 12-14. Stanberry won 46-14 in their recent league game against Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO)
