Connecticut High School Basketball - Westbrook knocked off by Portland

The Portland Highlanders basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Westbrook Knights to 36 in the Highlanders league triumph on Saturday.
The Highlanders now sport a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Old Saybrook for a Shoreline contest on Tuesday, February 13. Portland will meet a Rams team coming off a 56-35 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Rams record now stands at 13-5.
The Knights (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises enter the Shoreline contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Hale Ray was outscored by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 62-47, in a league contest.
