The Avon Old Farms Beavers edged the host Deerfield Academy Big Green ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's league bout.
With the victory, Avon Old Farms betters its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) to confront the Wild Boars in a bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Wild Boars go into the bout with a record of 4-17. Choate Rosemary Hall School lost 4-0 in their recent league bout against Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH)
The Big Green now have a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Taft School for a bout on Wednesday, February 14. Deerfield Academy will confront a Big Red squad coming off a 1-1 league Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Big Red record now stands at 9-12.
