In Saturday's non-league outing, the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) basketball squad edged the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 46-44.
The Tigers (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons come into the challenge with a 12-5 record.
Next up, the Monarchs play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Manzano will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
