Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers confront the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Saint Francis will attempt to better on its 17-0 season record. The Bells enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 4-1 league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).

The Wildcats now have a 6-9 record.
