In Monday's non-league contest, the host East Side Red Raiders basketball team scored a good 53-41 win over the American History Eagles.

The Red Raiders (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Central (Newark, NJ). The Blue Devils come into the Super Essex - Liberty contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Newark Central was topped by Livingston (Livingston, NJ), 56-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. American History will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record.
