In Monday's non-league contest, the host Springfield Cosmos basketball team scored a good 65-48 win over the Arlington Memorial Eagles.
The Cosmos (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Long Trail was topped by Proctor (Proctor, VT), 48-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Sharon Academy Phoenix (Sharon, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Arlington Memorial will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record.
