The Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) basketball toppled the host Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), 56-43 in Monday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Meadow Bridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. Bath County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 70-41 league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Craig County falls to 0-21 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to play the Fighting Blues in a Pioneer bout on Thursday, February 13. The Fighting Blues go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Parry McCluer won 67-34 in their recent league bout against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA)
