New York High School Basketball - Beekmantown nudges Peru

February 10, 2025: Peru, NY 12972

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) and the host Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), observed Beekmantown's basketball team edge Peru by a score of 61-55.

The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Saranac Lake edged AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY), 57-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Nighthawks encounter the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Peru will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 69-66 league win over Moriah (Port Henry, NY).
