The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) and the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), observed Harrisonburg's basketball team edge Broadway by a score of 56-51.
The Blue Streaks (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers come into the Valley challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Spotswood edged Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 85-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Gobblers battle the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Broadway will attempt to improve on its 4-19 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 85-44 league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
