In Monday's league test, the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), by a score of 65-37.
Next, the Green Hornets clash with the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah test, on Wednesday, February 12. Wilson Memorial will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Gladiators come into the test with a 10-10 record after their 66-44 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
The Bison (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants come into the Shenandoah test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Waynesboro was routed by Staunton (Staunton, VA), 71-33, in a league test.
