The Cheboygan Chiefs basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Kalkaska Blazers to 50 in the Chiefs league triumph on Monday.

The Chiefs now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sault Area for a Straits Area game on Tuesday, February 11. Cheboygan will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 68-29 non-league loss to Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-16.

In their next game, the Blazers battle the Harbor Springs Rams (Harbor Springs, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Kalkaska will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 99-51 non-league win over Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI).
