Virginia High School Basketball - Summit Christian Academy can't hold off Denbigh Baptist Christian

The Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen nipped the visiting Summit Christian Academy Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 46-45 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Minutemen face the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Metropolitan outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Denbigh Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Seahawks enter the outing with a 16-10 record after their 66-50 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).

The Eagles (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, James River HomeSchool got by Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA), 77-46, in a league outing.
