The Lewis County Lions basketball squad (Vanceburg, KY), was nudged 47-44 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY)
With the victory, East Carter advances its record to 7-13 on the year. The Raiders travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to meet the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 15-8.
The Lions now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenup County for a District 63 battle on Thursday, February 13. Lewis County will meet a Musketeers squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 9-16.
