The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) and the visiting Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), observed East Wake's basketball team overwhelm Southern Wayne by a score of 75-42.

The Warriors (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans come into the 3A Quad County challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, South Johnston was routed by Hunt (Wilson, NC), 57-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Southern Wayne will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 68-48 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC).
