California High School Basketball - Venice can't hold off Fairfax

The Fairfax Lions tipped the visiting Venice Gondoliers basketball team by a margin of 65-60 in Monday's league contest.
The Lions (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins come into the Western contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Palisades was tipped by Westchester (Los Angeles, CA), 59-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gondoliers battle the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Venice will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 59-34 league win over Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA).
