The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA), observed James River Midlothian's basketball team overcome Midlothian by a margin of 72-52.

The Rapids (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians come into the Dominion challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Powhatan dropped by L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA), 64-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Midlothian will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 76-33 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA).
