Kentucky High School Basketball - Paintsville overwhelms Magoffin County

The Paintsville Tigers basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Magoffin County Hornets to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they host Martin County for a District 57 game on Tuesday, February 11. Paintsville will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 83-81 non-league loss to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Magoffin County falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a District 57 game on Wednesday, February 12. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 16-8.
