Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple Lake nips St. John's Prep

In Monday's league contest, the host Maple Lake Irish basketball team scored a close 80-73 triumph over the St. John's Prep Johnnies.
The Irish (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against International School of Minnesota (Eden Prairie, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, International School of Minnesota was tipped by Parnassus Prep (Maple Grove, MN), 63-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Johnnies battle the North Lakes Academy Huskies (Forest Lake, MN) in a A Section 5 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. St. John's Prep will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 6-15 record after their 99-29 non-league loss to Spectrum (Elk River, MN).
