The Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), 85-58 in Monday's league bout.
The Bears now possess a 20-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cimarron for a A District 5 bout on Saturday, February 15.
With the loss, Wagon Mound falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Trojans host Des Moines (Des Moines, NM) to play the Demons in a A District 5 bout on Friday, February 14. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Des Moines won 57-43 in their recent league outing against New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM)
