California High School Basketball - Nevada Union can't hold off Roseville

Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 70-63 in a league match.

With the victory, Roseville upgrades its record to 17-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to face the Raging Rhinos in a Foothill Valley match on Wednesday, February 12. The Raging Rhinos enter the match with a record of 20-6. Twelve Bridges won 55-52 in their recent league match against Placer (Auburn, CA)

The Miners now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yuba City for a Foothill Valley match on Friday, February 14. Nevada Union will face a Honkers squad coming off a 75-68 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 9-18.
