In Monday's league contest, the visiting William Penn Bearcats basketball team scored a close 62-55 win over the Red Lion Lions.

The Bearcats (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central York (York, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 22-2 record. In their last contest, Central York edged West York Area (York, PA), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
