In Monday's league contest, the host Wyoming East Warriors basketball team scored a good 70-52 triumph over the Summers County Bobcats.
The Warriors (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Williamstown topped Wahama (Mason, WV), 82-59, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) in a Coalfield AAA contest, on Thursday, February 13. Summers County will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 82-66 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, WV).
