In Monday's league contest, the visiting Edison Eagles basketball team scored a big 71-31 win over the Annandale Atoms.
The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers come into the District 3 contest with a 6-13 record.
In their next game, the Atoms battle the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) in a District 3 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Annandale will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Majors come into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 54-27 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
