The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), observed Blazer's basketball team overwhelm Russell by a score of 70-41.

The Tomcats (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions come into the District 64 challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Boyd County trounced Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 40-38, in a non-league challenge.
