In Monday's league contest, the visiting Lakeview Lakers basketball team scored a good 57-43 triumph over the Canby Lancers.
The Lakers (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Sting go into the A Section 3 contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, Yellow Medicine East was toppled by Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN), 44-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers confront the Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN) in a A Section 3 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Canby will attempt to better on its 13-10 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 17-11 record after their 59-46 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN).
