The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) and the visiting Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), observed Carlson's basketball team overcome Roosevelt by a margin of 47-33.

The Marauders (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Griffins come into the Downriver challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Taylor defeated Trenton (Trenton, MI), 25-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 41-33 league loss to Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
