The Valley City Hi-Liners nipped the visiting Central Cass Squirrels basketball squad by a final score of 60-59 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Hi-Liners face the Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND) in a A Region 1 outing, on Thursday, February 13. Valley City will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the outing with a 7-13 record after their 64-59 league loss to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND).
The Squirrels (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Firebirds enter the non-league outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, Devils Lake got by Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND), 78-34, in a league outing.
